NSC is a government-backed savings bond, mainly used for small savings and income tax saving investments in India. The interest is compounded annually and paid at maturity.
How to use this calculator?

NSC Formula
- Maturity Amount = Principal × (1 + Rate/100)^Time
- Interest Earned = Maturity Amount – Principal
Example: If you invest ₹1,00,000 at 7.7% annual interest for 5 years, the maturity amount will be ₹1,45,000 and the interest earned will be ₹45,000.
